Vow Of Life: Feelings Of Others
During my recent visit
to home, I felt the peace and caring atmosphere around me and thought that what
would be a life when we stop caring the people around ourselves. We cannot be
strong whole and always sustain our emotion and feelings. Now we are in the
world of less caring atmosphere around us, One of the hardest challenges within
the gamut of spiritual growth is to try to sincerely feel the pain of others.
It is difficult to put ourselves in someone else's place and experience their
hurting. There's no question that when someone undergoes suffering of his own,
he finds it easier to feel another person's pain.
The reason why we find feeling other people's
suffering so difficult is because we inescapably live much of our lives in a
self-centered manner. We begin life as infants with no concept of anyone else
but ourselves. Babies cry when they're hungry or when they have a dirty diaper
without any perception that they are waking up their parents at 3AM. As we grow
into childhood, we discover slowly that there are other people in the world and
that we must get along with them. But we mainly 'share our toys' not because we
care about the pain of other kids, but because we either want them to share
their toys with us or because we're forced to.
As we develop and mature, we realize more and
more that other people are truly important and need to be respected for their
own existence. It is very hard to rip ourselves away from our self-absorption
and it usually takes a lifetime of spiritual advancement to accomplish it. Sensitivity
for others, loving your friends and neighbors is what the entire life is all
about. The goal of life is to break free from the self-serving and selfish
attitude with which we are born, and to step into the thoughts and feelings of
those around us, including God.
Now that we have discovered the source of the
difficulty for feeling other people's pain, our self-absorption, we are ready
to move forward and work on improving ourselves. We need to step away from
dealing only with our concerns and start putting ourselves in the mindset of
others. We need to see their needs, worries, and pain. We need to become good
listeners, and offer comforting and encouraging words. We can't always do
anything tangible to solve the problem, but the fact that my friend knows that
I share the ache of his burdens helps him tremendously. He knows that he
doesn't face his problems alone. This is what we must strive for. We should
live each day with an awareness of the burden of others and do what we can to
alleviate their pain.

Call Me Extremist but Stop Homosexuality In Pakistan
Well, I watched
rally and support in USA and Europe, start getting the news, films and rally from
the neighbor India , now I can hear the noise in Pakistan as well: Right Of Homosexual.
There had been many cases of same sex marriages in Pakistan; ones which can be
read and seen on television (blah, blah news channel) and forced Islamic Republic of Pakistan to think about
it. As an Islamic country, it cannot be the part of constitution but are we true Islamic state?
What about our liberal image in West media? This is the issue sooner or later
our country has to deal with.
There was a social
gathering in US embassy in which Homosexuals community of Pakistan were invited
which causes an outrage among the religious parties. What was US motive in all that? We have
allowed India to distract our Indus culture through their media. Though It was
late call from Chief Justice Chaudary
Iftikar when he took a serious note and banned several Indian channel to put
aside the nation from being amalgamate with Indian culture( accurately Hinduism
philosophy). US embassy imposed the major threat to the society with Bisexual
issue. As I said earlier, We have to make a strong stand against US embassy.
When I talk about strong stand, many people will consider me as an extremist
and make me reference to Human rights and Liberalism : Right To Show What You Are!!
Coming on
the point that whether Homosexuality is an act of liberalism or extremism, I
think that it is not associated with either. When someone is not in control of
their sexuality then the purpose of their God given gender is lost. Being
bisexual is a totally a personal affair, and even supporting it. The very
concept of bisexuality has become an epidemic in recent years. It has been
accepted in some countries (States of President Obama) and in some it has
become an outrage which disrespects our moral creed. To any layman, homosexuality
would be considered blasphemous and I am one of them of course. Nature is not
forgiving and the act of bisexuality would be to change the course of nature
itself, which can be referred to as extremism. People now understand that
bisexuality is an open secret, so why shy away from it. Medically, it causes
the spread of viral diseases such as HIV. Its abandon in utmost religion and punishes defined
hereafter (esp. in Islam, Christianity, Judaism)
In the end, I
suggest that we have to consider the issue in future so why does not now? It's always better to stop the fire before it
gets too late. We can end the dilemma and make the strong statement to the world
and Muslim Countries that though we call ourselves liberal but we know the restrictions
in liberalism as a modern Islamic state.

Make Education NOT EQUAL TO GPA 4.00 or A`s Grade
Our educational system produce pseudo
intellectuals, who have read the Holy Quran in Arabic but do not
understand the meaning as they don’t understand Arabic; they believe Islam to
be the only righteous religion but can’t justify it; they have degrees from
elite institutions but still take Ahamdis to be Non-Muslim. We have
understand that religion is more than the words written in Book, making the
subject into practices realize the original meaning so it is same in case with
education. Students end up getting degrees but no education. Instead of the number of As scored,
I believe that our teachers should evaluate us based on the amount of learning
in the classroom through psychological testing techniques that determine true intelligence
and make test taking an activity that becomes fun and not stressful. Also, such intellectually challenging
questions proved to be torturous for rote-learners. Appropriate teaching and
evaluating methods will provide them with the necessary think-tank tools to
question stereotypes and prejudices, but will negate the culture of cheating in
our classrooms, and society in general.
Pakistan’s
education policy, like the mindset of a majority of the people here, is
‘number-oriented’ and not based on quality. Whether it is the obsession with
achieving the first position in class, bagging bunch of As in O’ and A’ levels,
attaining a 4.00 GPA in university or the concern to start off with a
salary package of Rs100,000 after graduation – the depth and purpose seems to
have gotten lost in the pursuit of numbers. What Pakistan needs is not just an
upgrade in the educational curriculum but a give a face-lift of the teaching
method used. Innovation and evaluation should be encouraged amongst teachers
and students, so the system can ensure that they are producing intellectuals
and not just numbers. The O’ and A’ level system is only producing a generation
of youth embroiled in rat race to secure the maximum number of
A’s. Their learning then revolves around achieving this objective. Studying
past papers, rote learning prepared answers all have become an indicator of
what is now defined as ‘intelligent’. Evaluation is equally absurd at the
university level where a relative grading system puts students in competition
with each other. This drive for grades not only kills the learning component of
education but also forces students to cheat on exams . This could all be changed if we were
to bring innovation into the current model of teaching and evaluation that is practiced in
Pakistan. Innovation in teaching could be achieved by philosophizing
subjects – making them realize to understand the concepts and by training them
to think analytically and critically. In terms of evaluation, instead of the
GPA system, a pass or fail system should exist. This will help to ease the
rigidity of the number based approach with a fresh ‘learning’ approach
– something desperately needed in Pakistan.
To sum it up, there is a need of to break off
from the older system; change the philosophy of learning and education by
accepting creativity and originality in teaching and evaluation. Such a change
will make the class room and learning experience something students look
forward to. The students will learn to strive to be best in their own individual capacity
and this will generate the kind of people who we would want leading our country
in the times to come.

Thanatophobia
"Who, me afraid of death?" "No way!" This is what human beings usually answer when questioned about their fear of death. I do not know how animals would react to a same question but animals have been seen risking their lives for their masters, no comments here. I feel that the answer of not being afraid of death comes from inexperience. It’s experience that makes us understand value of things and realize their potential. Most of us just hear or read about "Death" and have never seen it close to us This could be a reason why we say, "We are not afraid of death."
Thanatophobia is fear of death. Many people's fear of death is tied into their religious beliefs, particularly if they happen to be going through a period of questioning. Some people think that they know what will happen after death, but worry that they may be wrong. Some believe that the path to salvation is very straight and narrow, and fear that any deviations or mistakes may cause them to be eternally condemned.
Religious beliefs are highly personalized, I often see myself being dead in dreams and my fear is not death but sequences afterwards. So particularly, I am not afraid but possessive about my ideology and thinking on religious issue. But, why should I feel so? Talking on religious issue many will end up that there are things that do not need answers , you have to keep faith on it. In the world of 21st century, where the discoveries are resolving mysteries , we are still fearing of asking questions. To me, it's my moral right. I don't want to live the life where I was granted with the perfect religion but I wished to lit the light of beliefs in me.

Avengers Of Pakistan!!
After my first blog, I was thinking about the next step. I
searched Google to find how to make the blog popular. A common thing was that
you have to be specific to a topic and write the blogs on it but it’s not my
panache of writing. I thought to try new things to keep diversity in the topics. Then what occurs next in my mind are Pakistani
politics, which is only topic where words speak louder than actions. We always
expect cons from Pakistan politics but as the youth of Pakistan it is our moral
duty that we always think of positive outcome and our media should also
advertise more pros so the nation may acknowledge how matters can be corrected.
We are stopped and not moving forward. When thinking optimistically I always
think who can be the super hero of this nation or in a more heroic way; Avengers
of Pakistan.
When i started writing about who can be the hero in politics,
95 percent would think of Imran Khan Tsunami (PTI). We know that the current
PPP government is almost ready to be bestowed as the foulest government in the
history books of Pakistan. New elections are just less than one year from now.
I clearly don’t see any party winning with majority numbers. PPP will fight on
basis of one chance by expressing the Benazir Bhutto legend in the form of
Bilawal Zardari Bhutto. If by chance they win, Zardari corruption regime will
continue in the form of Bilawal PPP government. On other hand, PML (N) will
again try to repeat their previous campaign. I was thoroughly impressed with
the last PML (N) campaign which won the hearts of people again, but it was Benazir’s
sympathy vote that went against them, otherwise they would have been in a much
better position. As for PTI, I feel sorry for the youth but I have to say that they
have no proper framework prepared yet for an election campaign. They got us
believing with the point that they are the only party who has not been given a chance
and like the achievements of World cup, Hospital and a University they will do
better. But this is Politics and they are not doing politics at all. Winning a
world cup, making a trust hospital and a university is not political at all.
The best possible chance for them to succeed is collaborating with PML (N).
Amongst the Shareef Brothers, Shabhaz Shareef is really a man to honour. Though
some would say his acts are political stunts but his entire career he has been
a hard worker and a devoted politician. There are always conspiracy theories
which go can go against anyone but where the past governments have had devastating
effects on Pakistan economics, if PTI and PML (N) collaborate, then they can
position Pakistan onto the right track.
The next super hero in my model of Pakistan is CJ Iftikar Chaudary.
Though he is going to retire in 2013 but he has setup the perfect judiciary in
the late phase of his career. Sometime I think that the movement we started for
the protection of our country’s judiciary, elevated the nation of disbelief but
the question is where would be he in next era of Pakistan politics? To me, his
future is very uncertain and I don’t see him anywhere except in the PTI shirt.
For that, PTI really have to prove their worth in the next election.
Abdul Qadeer khan is the unsung hero of Pakistan and the man
who paid the price of good. Our nation should be ashamed of how we disregarded
this person. In one interview, he said if anything he wished to change in the past,
he would had never made Pakistan a nuclear power because of which he suffered
at the hands of this nation. In the future,
I wish that he plays his part as the President of Pakistan though it looks like
an impossible future keeping UN and USA in mind.
In the end, i would go with Nawaz shareef as Prime Minister
because he is a politician who can play games with USA keeping nation satisfy unlike
Imran khan as analyst. I would like to see more ministries of PTI so they kept
their words and keep Pakistan safe from
corruption. Imran khan can play an external role by keeping the eye on party as
Nawaz Shareef has done in this Present government.

Disbelieving the belief
For last
forty-eight hours, I lived my life in presence of no human being. It might
results in two ways either short term
mental disorder or engage me into certain new ideas. Well generally I am quite
a lazy person & having no physical activity during that time at all. It may
effects brain efficiency but the brain is only organ in the body which is
independent of certain physical disorder..it worked efficiently and take
me into the world of future. i am talking of a world way ahead. it exceeds the
quality, innovations, atmosphere, ideas and people than the normal. Humans have
achieved the all expectations they ever thought after achieving certain goals
then dreaming of further. I see human colonies in Mars and Moon. We are not
remained global but heading towards
universal. Human beings are themselves transformed into electrical
structure. They have many integral microchips in their body giving them access
of internet and communication controlling through brain. Human beings need no
education any more. they are provided with chips in brain giving them very
update in universe and every innovation process is just like happening in their
eyes and updating. I see the world of singularity we are finished with
relationships, the concept of father, mother, sister and brother are no more.
Hence, it advances the living of homosexual. Reproduction is being done in
artificial womb choosing the best reproductive cells from donors bank but we don't
have to worry the baby will electrically equipped with microchips soon. Fusion
concept is finally being implemented and we are not worry of energy crisis. We
are free from politics, its a world of regions and prosperous companies
collaborations, fulfilling every possible requirements human beings need. We
are not facing any environmental issues, Global warming is not a issue any more
since our transport not on natural fuel any more. Earthquakes and Tsunami are
predicted way before its taking place. We are immune to bacterial and viral
diseases through every possible vaccine
available at our stock. Terrorism? I
believe people have come over with their values and their agenda. We are not
country ,we are not group but singular; then for what we fight for, I fight for?
Then what is the purpose of our living, are we waiting for the day when we stop
breathing? What will be the definition of
life then? One would say all answers lies in the religion. Would religion be
able to the answers of our frustration, our dilemma and ongoing existence of
life? what if one day we come to know there is no God? We will end in
cannibalism.
